Z2056 - heavy body armor 3ds max, Maya, Photoshop, XSI April 2011
It has been an interesting journey to take this idea all the way from concept to rigging and rendering. The project started in 2004/2005 and back then I was a Maya fanatic and the model became very slow to work with on my laptop. I dropped the project for a while and then I picked it up in 3ds Max a few years later. Now i found the file as I was going through my backup CDs and I decided to rig it and put some light on it. Rigging and rendering was done in Softimage. It has been a little confusing to shift between software but there are smart feature in each tool If there is interest for it I can provide a lot of images on the work process.
